The SpinLord ORKan II is a slightly shorter medium-length pimple rubber. It combines high speed with high grip and a strong disruptive effect.
The top-sheet is identical to that of the ORKan, only the sponge differs. The pink sponge of the ORKan II is medium-hard with a hardness rating of approx. 44–46 degrees. While the silver sponge of the ORKan is a new development, the significantly faster and harder sponge of the ORKan II is based on the proven model of the Waran II.
Unlike most other short and medium-length pimples from SpinLord, the medium-hard pimples of the ORKan II have a cylindrical shape. The pimple heads are ribbed and the distance between the pimples is average.
Compared to the conical shape otherwise used, cylindrical pimples are slower but more dangerous. However, the lower speed of this pimple shape is completely offset in the ORKan II by the very fast sponge with a strong built-in speed effect.
Like the ORKan, however, the ORKan II is somewhat weaker on topspins.
It really comes into its own with powerful blocking and counterattacking play. The ball trajectory of these strokes are flat and very difficult to predict due to the fast descent of the balls and a slight flutter effect. Surprisingly, despite its high speed, the ORKan II makes it very easy to play dangerous backspin balls.
The ORKan II is also significantly better than the ORKan for hard shots, making it suitable as a forehand rubber.
The speed of the ORKan II is lower than that of the Waran II, but slightly higher than that of the Keiler, as the top-sheet is slower. This makes the ORKan II a medium-speed offensive rubber.
It is not much more difficult to control than most short pimples. So if you feel that your short pimples are too slow or too harmless for your opponent with the plastic ball, the ORKan II can solve both problems at once.
At just over 60 g for the uncut square in 2.0 mm, the weight of the ORKan II is above the average for pimple-out rubbers.

The values given for speed, spin, control and disruption are based on our own tests. They may therefore differ from the manufacturer's specifications.
Some values may vary, for example the weight of table tennis blades.
OX rubbers should be attached to the blade using an adhesive sheet. This is not included if you purchase a SpinLord rubber.
For rubbers with sponge, use a suitable VOC-free glue to attach them to the blade. Do not use glue sticks, adhesives containing solvents or any adhesive not specifically designed for table tennis rubbers.
Rubbers should only be attached to sealed blades.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that the rubber can be reattached multiple times. Depending on the type of sponge used, it may be damaged when removed from the blade, even with professional assembly.
Please also note that rubbers may warp to a greater or lesser extent depending on the type. Consequently, the amount of rubber adhesive required to assemble the racket varies from rubber to rubber.
