People often ask us if we can sponsor players.
SpinLord is a small brand with limited resources, and we also suffer under the weight of crazy EU laws and extremely high ITTF fees, which make it very difficult to turn a decent profit.
Therefore, we are unable to offer traditional sponsorship.
However, if you are a professional player willing to play exclusively with our equipment — not just one rubber, but a SpinLord blade and two SpinLord rubbers on both sides (the backhand side must have short or long pips) — and can provide us with good videos of your gameplay, we look forward to hearing from you.
You will also, of course, ask yourself how good you need to be to get sponsored.
I think the best answer to this question is that people should find it interesting to watch you play.
It doesn’t matter if you play in the first or second league, but you must be a professional player with ambition and a commitment to intensive training.
It is also required that you can speak either English or German. We cannot sponsor players who can only communicate with us via a translator.
Furthermore, SpinLord is a brand with high moral standards, so we will not sponsor any players from Russia or any other terrorist states. We will also not sponsor players who support Russia or any other terrorist countries.
You must also be able to speak for yourself; we basically do not sponsor children, nor players who let their trainer or manager decide everything.
We would expect you to provide us with videos that we can upload to our YouTube channel.
We also do not sponsor players in lower leagues or veteran players.
We are not interested in working with further YouTubers who are not decent players themselves.
We can only sponsor players from countries to which we can ship. Logically, if there is no feasible way to send you our equipment, sponsorship will not be possible.
However, if you still think you are the right person for us to sponsor after reading this long list of requirements, please write to us and we will contact you as soon as possible.
