The SpinLord ORKan is a slightly shorter medium-length pimple rubber.
Its main features are controlled offensive speed, high grip, and a high disruptive effect.
Unlike almost all other short and medium-length pimples from SpinLord, the pimples of the ORKan have a cylindrical shape.
Compared to the conical shape otherwise used, cylindrical pimples are slower but more dangerous. However, the ORKan compensates for the lower speed of this pimple shape by using a modern sponge with a strong built-in speed effect.
Cylindrical pimples are significantly weaker than conical pimples when it comes to topspins, but stronger when it comes to backspin balls.
The ORKan can at least partially compensate for the reduced suitability of this pimple shape for topspins with its high grip. Nevertheless, this stroke is its weak point.
Also hard shots cannot be played optimally with the ORKan. Therefore, it is likely to be used primarily as a backhand rubber, especially by players who use more offensive short pimples or pimples-in rubbers on the forehand side.
On the other hand, the ORKan is very strong when it comes to flat and vicious backspin balls as well as block and counter balls. A slight flutter effect is noticeable with these strokes, and the ball flight curve is short and flat.
The top-sheet of the ORKan is medium hard. The pimple heads are ribbed and the distance between the pimples is average.
The soft silver sponge has a hardness rating of approx. 40 degrees.
The speed of the ORKan is between that of the Degu and the Keiler. This means that the rubber can be described as controlled offensive. Its high control makes it an easy rubber to master.
The weight of the SpinLord ORKan is pleasantly low.

The values given for speed, spin, control and disruption are based on our own tests. They may therefore differ from the manufacturer's specifications.
Some values may vary, for example the weight of table tennis blades.
OX rubbers should be attached to the blade using an adhesive sheet. This is not included if you purchase a SpinLord rubber.
For rubbers with sponge, use a suitable VOC-free glue to attach them to the blade. Do not use glue sticks, adhesives containing solvents or any adhesive not specifically designed for table tennis rubbers.
Rubbers should only be attached to sealed blades.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that the rubber can be reattached multiple times. Depending on the type of sponge used, it may be damaged when removed from the blade, even with professional assembly.
Please also note that rubbers may warp to a greater or lesser extent depending on the type. Consequently, the amount of rubber adhesive required to assemble the racket varies from rubber to rubber.
Please refer to the instructions for using the rubber adhesive.
