A versatile, medium-speed long pimple rubber with excellent durability. One of our most popular long pimple rubbers!

The SpinLord Sternenfall Pro is not an entirely new development, but a slightly improved version of its predecessor, the SpinLord Sternenfall, which is no longer available.

The surface of the pimples is still ribbed. The arrangement of the pimples (extremely widely spaced) is also unchanged.
The rubber compound is essentially the same as before, though it is designed to be slightly harder (making it quite hard overall). Furthermore, the rubber base is slightly thinner.

This results in a slightly higher disruptive effect with the same level of control and slightly higher speed. The Sternenfall Pro is also slightly less sensitive to incoming spin.

It has linear ball acceleration, meaning neither a ‘bouncy effect’ nor significant damping on passive strokes. Consequently, the disruptive effect with this rubber is mainly due to the pimples bending and the flat, dangerous ball trajectory.

Players who have previously used the “Sternenfall” will be able to play the “Sternenfall Pro” without any adjustment. This rubber should also be easy for all other players to master.

However, when it comes to passive blocks, the “Dornenglanz” remains unrivalled. Although the “Sternenfall Pro” is very controllable and allows for very precise ball placement, it is not as dangerous as the “Dornenglanz”. For active, aggressive disruptive shots, however, the “Sternenfall Pro” is better (and also more dangerous) than the “Dornenglanz” and almost all other long pimples.

Precisely because of its high resistance to incoming spin, almost all of the opponent’s shots can be attacked effortlessly. Unlike other rubbers, the “Sternenfall” is already ideally suited to a more aggressive style of play in the “OX” version. The ball trajectory with this rubber is flat and rather long.

Chopping and an undercut defence are also effective.

The Sternenfall Pro is therefore the right choice for pimpled rubber players looking for a fairly fast, easy-to-play pimpled rubber with a hard ball strike for an active disruptive game.

The penetrating power is significantly higher than with slower and softer long pimples, such as the Strahlkraft or the Dornenglanz III, and consequently so is the disruptive effect.

In the sponge version, the speed is now significantly slower than in the old version. Thus, the Pro version in 1.0 mm is 1.0 mm slower than the old version in 1.0 mm, in contrast to the Ox version! The slower sponge provides more control without reducing the disruptive effect.

Overall, the Sternenfall Pro thus offers a very attractive balance of speed, control and disruptive effect.

If passive blocks do not play a central role in your own playing style, this rubber could be the right choice.

The “Sternenfall Pro” is also effective in higher leagues.

The values given for speed, spin, control and disruption are based on our own tests. They may therefore differ from the manufacturer's specifications.

Some values may vary, for example the weight of table tennis blades.

Test des Sternenfall Pro von GeblockTT

OX rubbers should be attached to the blade using an adhesive sheet. This is not included if you purchase a SpinLord rubber.

For rubbers with sponge, use a suitable VOC-free glue to attach them to the blade. Do not use glue sticks, adhesives containing solvents or any adhesive not specifically designed for table tennis rubbers.

Rubbers should only be attached to sealed blades.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that the rubber can be reattached multiple times. Depending on the type of sponge used, it may be damaged when removed from the blade, even with professional assembly.

Please also note that rubbers may warp to a greater or lesser extent depending on the type. Consequently, the amount of rubber adhesive required to assemble the racket varies from rubber to rubber.
Please refer to the instructions for using the rubber adhesive.
