The Pure Spin OFF+ is a new version of the Carbon Spin OFF, but without the carbon.
In terms of gameplay, it remains a fast, offensive blade that significantly increases spin and the disruptive effect when used with long pimples or anti-spin rubbers.
This is made possible by a unique veneer combination. The total thickness of the veneers is approximately 8.5 mm.
This makes the Pure Spin OFF+ a remarkably thick blade. However, the core veneer is not made of balsa.
The outer veneers are made of walnut and there are five veneers in total.
The approximate weight is 84 g; it is not possible to select a specific weight, but no blade weighs more than 88 g.
The playing surface measures approximately 155 x 152 mm (our standard size).
The Pure Spin OFF+ is slightly top-heavy.
Although it has a slightly higher speed than the Carbon Spin OFF, the ball contact is softer and less stiff.
Despite its high speed, this blade is easy to control. The high speed values particularly support an attacking game focused on speed without compromise.
At the same time, this blade also significantly increases spin.
As with the Carbon Spin OFF, its playing behaviour is less linear than that of standard offensive blades without balsa veneer.
The slightly thicker handles sit comfortably in the hand. The handle shells are made of solid hinoki, the colour of which may vary from blade to blade.
The workmanship is first-class. The blade is very robust.
When combined with the right rubbers, all offensive playing strategies are possible. This blade is also ideal for pimple players (with short and/or long pimples), as well as spin-oriented players using inverted rubbers. For players using long pimples, we recommend the OX variant (without sponge).
In general, we can recommend this blade to all players looking for a lightweight, non-carbon offensive blade. However, unfortunately, the handles are a little too thick for younger junior players and women.
In terms of playability and quality, the Pure Spin OFF+ rivals the best carbon-free blades from other manufacturers, with only a slightly simpler design.
Please note: due to the dark outer veneers, do not combine with OX Red rubbers!

The playing surfaces (outer veneers) of this table tennis blade must be sealed to prevent damage to the blade.
If they are not sealed, the rubber adhesive can seep into the top veneer, causing it to flake off.
Furthermore, the top veneer may fray when the rubber is removed.
