Manufactured in Germany, this 8 mm wide edge tape is of the very highest quality. It adheres significantly better than edge tapes from Chinese brands, and boasts high-quality printing. As it is a fabric tape, it can easily be applied to slightly unevenly cut rubbers. It is also particularly easy to use.
Each roll is 10 metres long (enough for approximately 20–25 rackets).
This edge tape has the same design as the 10 mm wide SpinLord edge tape.
Due to its 8 mm width, this tape is particularly suitable for defensive rackets where the blade has a veneer thickness of less than 5.5 mm and the rubber has a sponge thickness of less than 1.5 mm, or 'OX' rubber.
However, for most players, this edge tape is too narrow — at least 10 mm is usually required. The edge tape must also completely cover the sponges of the rubbers; otherwise, it is insufficiently wide.
Using tape that is too narrow means the edge tape has virtually no effect!
However, we are now offering this edge tape as an additional option, as we found it increasingly frustrating not to have a suitable option for some defensive players.
