This sponge is significantly different from cleaning sponges previously available. Above all, unlike conventional cleaning sponges, it is particularly well suited to all types of pimpled-out rubbers and extremely sticky inverted rubbers.
By cleaning your short and long pimples with this cleaning sponge and a suitable rubber cleaner (for example, our SpinLord Ultra Clean), you can immediately notice a noticeable improvement in playing performance (compared to an uncleaned rubber; cleaning is particularly effective on rubbers with smooth but slightly sticky pimple heads).
For outermost pimpled rubbers, the cleaning fluid must be sprayed onto the sponge, not onto the rubber itself!
For inverted pimpled rubbers, the cleaning fluid is sprayed onto the rubber as usual.
Even extremely sticky and therefore very scratch-sensitive inverted pimpled rubbers can be cleaned more effectively with this cleaning sponge than with conventional cleaning sponges. The ultra-soft surface of the cleaning sponge glides gently over the rubber during cleaning. It is also easy to work the cleaning fluid into the rubber with this sponge. This helps to preserve the stickyness for longer. With this sponge, there is also no risk of particles from the sponge becoming trapped on the sticky surface.
For simpler (standard-grip) inverted rubbers, however, this sponge is neither better nor worse than a conventional cleaning sponge.
It still has the advantage of being gentle on the material, even with these rubbers. However, it also has the disadvantage of a longer drying time, as the absorbency of the cleaning fluid is significantly reduced (to be fair, this disadvantage compared to conventional cleaning sponges must also be mentioned). On the other hand, it has a high absorption capacity for (dust) particles.
The cleaning sponge can be washed out easily.

For pimple out rubbers, the cleaning fluid must be sprayed onto the sponge, not onto the rubber itself!
For inverted rubbers, the cleaning fluid should be sprayed onto the rubber as usual and then spread or rubbed in with the sponge.
Rubber protection films must not be applied to the rubbers until the cleaning fluid has dried completely. This may take longer than usual due to the lower absorbency of this sponge.
