The SpinLord Waran is one of the world's most popular short pips.

However, some players wanted even more speed, so we created the Waran II.

Waran II combines the unchanged top sheet of the Waran (featuring hard, short, conical pimples with ribbed tops) with a fast, medium-hard sponge (the same as used for Marder IV and Irbis II). Thanks to this newly developed sponge, the Waran II is much faster than the Waran. However, please note that this also means that the Waran II is harder than the Waran and heavier.

For skilled players using short pimple-out rubbers, hitting the ball is the easiest way to succeed. Not only is Waran II the best rubber available for deadly shots, it also supports such players by being very insensitive to incoming spin and providing a very flat ball trajectory. Of course, playing with spin is also possible with Waran II, and even passive strokes are no problem, but this rubber is designed for continuous attacking.

Waran II is not dangerous for opponents because the ball trajectory is unpredictable (due to the fact that the pimples hardly wobble). It is dangerous because the player can put enormous pressure on their opponent, minimising their reaction time. Even passive block balls become dangerous as they are hit very quickly and can easily be pushed into the opponent's dead angles. One of the main advantages of this rubber is that precise ball placement is possible with all strokes. Waran II is weaker than Waran for playing undercut balls, but despite this, playing undercut balls works amazingly well at high speed.

Waran is suitable for players of all levels and can be used with any blade. Waran II is more suitable for advanced players and works best with faster, lightweight blades. Therefore, Waran II will be much better for some players than Waran, but not for all.

Waran II is our solution for players seeking a pips-out rubber with the highest possible acceleration and speed that is not too difficult to control. In fact, Waran II has more control than many slower pips-out rubbers from other brands and is spiny enough for looping.

The combination of the classic strengths of pips-out rubbers and the attributes of modern rubbers is what makes Waran II such a superior rubber. Players should not miss out on it!

OX rubbers should be attached to the blade using an adhesive sheet. This is not included if you purchase a SpinLord rubber.

For rubbers with sponge, use a suitable VOC-free glue to attach them to the blade. Do not use glue sticks, adhesives containing solvents or any adhesive not specifically designed for table tennis rubbers.

Rubbers should only be attached to sealed blades.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that the rubber can be reattached multiple times. Depending on the type of sponge used, it may be damaged when removed from the blade, even with professional assembly.

Please also note that rubbers may warp to a greater or lesser extent depending on the type. Consequently, the amount of rubber adhesive required to assemble the racket varies from rubber to rubber.
Please refer to the instructions for using the rubber adhesive.
