The SpinLord Zeitgeist is a slow, long pimple rubber that has been optimized for passive, close-to-the-table blocking.
The texture:
The pimples of the “Zeitgeist” are very thin, long, and medium-hard. The distance between the pimples is extremely large.
The non-ribbed pimple heads are nevertheless very grippy. The grip of this pimple rubber is higher than that of many long pimples with ribbed pimple heads, but lower than that of the SpinLord Dornenglanz and Blitzschlag.
Due to this new texture, the pimples are very insensitive to incoming spin. However, dangerous spin variations are possible in active play. Although this pimple is not quite as insensitive to spin as the banned smooth long pimples, the improvement over the grippy long pimples previously available is clearly noticeable.
The new version of Zeitgeist with sponge uses the slow sponge of SpinLord Marder and is therefore only slightly faster than the version without sponge.
Durability is good.
Playing characteristics:
The SpinLord Zeitgeist is a controlled, slow long pimple rubber for players who mainly play passive blocks close to the table without using their wrist. Essentially, these are players in lower leagues who mainly just “hold out” their bat.
Although it is possible to play backspin defense without any problems, this is not the actual strength of the rubber. The Zeitgeist is also only average when it comes to offensive disruptive shots.
In contrast to the Dornenglanz, where the disruptive effect is the main focus, this rubber is aimed at players who place particular importance on high control. However, due to the very flat and short ball flight curve, the “Zeitgeist” is still dangerous enough for the opponent.

The values given for speed, spin, control and disruption are based on our own tests. They may therefore differ from the manufacturer's specifications.
Some values may vary, for example the weight of table tennis blades.
OX rubbers should be attached to the blade using an adhesive sheet. This is not included if you purchase a SpinLord rubber.
For rubbers with sponge, use a suitable VOC-free glue to attach them to the blade. Do not use glue sticks, adhesives containing solvents or any adhesive not specifically designed for table tennis rubbers.
Rubbers should only be attached to sealed blades.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that the rubber can be reattached multiple times. Depending on the type of sponge used, it may be damaged when removed from the blade, even with professional assembly.
Please also note that rubbers may warp to a greater or lesser extent depending on the type. Consequently, the amount of rubber adhesive required to assemble the racket varies from rubber to rubber.
