The SpinLord Tiger is a classic, controlled, all-round offensive rubber that does not have a built-in speed glue effect. Consequently, the catapult effect of the Tiger is only moderate.
The top sheet is very thin and the inward-facing pimples are very long. This makes the SpinLord Tiger more elastic than conventional rubbers, allowing it to generate a lot of spin despite its non-sticky yet highly grippy top sheet.
The sponge used in the Tiger is a high-quality, medium-hard (hardness rating approx. 43 degrees) sponge from Japan.
It absorbs some speed during passive play, making the Tiger highly controllable.
However, the top sheet is 'Made in China', where the components are also bonded together.
The SpinLord Tiger is well-suited to all types of stroke. In 1.5 and 1.8 mm thicknesses, it is ideal for a versatile all-round game based on controlled counterattacks and blocks combined with powerful backspin shots.
A thicker sponge makes it better suited to controlled topspins. At 2.1 mm, it is also possible to play a powerful offensive game with high control (though naturally, its suitability for backspin shots decreases slightly as the sponge thickness increases).
Unlike the 'Adler' and 'Adler II' rubbers, the 'Tiger' can be used at the highest level. For example, Nikolay Telnoy, a professional player we used to sponsor, used this rubber on his backhand for a long time.
Of all the rubbers we offer, the SpinLord Tiger is the best alternative to the classic 'Sriver'.

The values given for speed, spin, control and disruption are based on our own tests. They may therefore differ from the manufacturer's specifications.
Some values may vary, for example the weight of table tennis blades.
OX rubbers should be attached to the blade using an adhesive sheet. This is not included if you purchase a SpinLord rubber.
For rubbers with sponge, use a suitable VOC-free glue to attach them to the blade. Do not use glue sticks, adhesives containing solvents or any adhesive not specifically designed for table tennis rubbers.
Rubbers should only be attached to sealed blades.
Please note that we cannot guarantee that the rubber can be reattached multiple times. Depending on the type of sponge used, it may be damaged when removed from the blade, even with professional assembly.
Please also note that rubbers may warp to a greater or lesser extent depending on the type. Consequently, the amount of rubber adhesive required to assemble the racket varies from rubber to rubber.
Please refer to the instructions for using the rubber adhesive.
